Shenzhen's Futian C Future City isn't short on retail concepts. What Molly Tea did there with its first "Tea House" store still stands out. They dropped the usual grab-and-go tea counter and built something slower — a space that leans on Eastern calm without tipping into costume.

The floor does most of the talking. ML-OT001 , our red brick mosaic, runs across the whole store: underfoot, up the central island, across the display surfaces. We didn't treat it as an accent. It's the ground the entire room stands on.

Walk in and you'll see why. Each panel sets small brick modules in a staggered layout — terracotta, burnt sienna, rust, warm brown — held in a concrete mix with visible grain. The colour isn't flat. It shifts through the day, amber under the evening lights, closer to rose in the afternoon.

Covering the full footprint with one material was the risky call, and it paid off. White walls, timber, leather seating — all of it reads against that single warm floor. Nothing competes.
